OVERVIEW
Commissioned by designers Ferenc Laufer and András Húnfalvi at Flying Objects, the aim of this sophisticated little clip was to introduce the character and function of this retro influenced solar lamp.

UNIQUE DESIGN
Iggy is a portable mood light for both indoor and outdoor use. It brings warm and cozy light to wherever it’s needed. Manufactured by 54Celsius, the lightweight yet rugged construction is a true descendant of the old-timey storm lamps.
THE LAMP
Its exquisite, classic silhouette is a nod to the design of the original, handheld kerosene lamps, but the oil tank is replaced by a solar panel and a powerful rechargeable battery.

SUSTAINABILITY
Designed to be simple in construction, the lamp is constructed from relatively few parts. By the end of the product’s life-cycle, the parts can be completely disassembled and recycled.
